We thought it would be useful to provide an update ahead of the Christmas break.

As reported in our previous update in October 2021, the timescales we set to complete first and second scoring would be by December 2021. We are pleased to report that we are on track to meet this date, subject to a few roles which are still progressing through the Failure to Agree process. 

The project team is currently working with the Job Evaluation Working Group to conduct the final quality assurance checks with the aim of presenting the outcomes from the evaluation process to college HR departments in the New Year. The Role Analysts will be staying on the project to assist us with this work.        

Progress continues between the support staff and management sides around the development of pay and grading options. The Pay Working Group is meeting every four weeks to take forward activity from the agreed workplan.  

The priorities for the Pay Working Group for the first six months into 2022 will be finalising the data and undertaking pay modelling. Regular updates on this area of work will begin to be communicated after the New Year.
